Soi CowboyMore Pictures could be found at ...PICTURES!
You could find "Soi Cowboy" at the end of the Sukhumvit Night Market, in a side street. It is the 2nd-oldest "nightclub district " from Bangkok. Designated after one the first Bars in the quarter, the cowboy bar. The original bar does not exist any more, but there are many bars, which offer the "usual" mixture: Girlie Bars, Strip Bars, music taverns. After the "crackdown" at Nana, Soi Cowboy is geting famous again and a lot of people go there for a drink or two. Nothing the despite: the Soi cowboy also always belongs with me to the outdoor-places, where I like to sit down and drink a beer or a Mekong Coke. And if you like Thai-Food: go to the corner of Soi Cowboy, there you will find the "Ships Inn". A small bar with good food. A lot of "Brits" are inside! Maybe you meet Christopher G. Moore, the Novell-Writer and "Hemmingway from Bangkok" there. Sometimes he likes to drink something at Ships Inn. I also made the Interview with him at Ships Inn! Take a look! A good Bar to go to is the "Midnite Bar". I like this Bar very much, because the people there are VERY friendly and they all speak English very well. More Pictures could be found at ...PICTURES!
